Soap making
Make natural soap bars with oils, botanicals and scents, from melt-and-pour to cold process.

What you do
There are two ways in. Melt-and-pour is quick and colourful: you melt a soap base, add fragrance, colour and botanicals and pour it into moulds. Cold process is the traditional method, where oils and butters react with lye to make soap from scratch; the host handles the safety side and talks you through the chemistry. Either way you design your bars, swirl colours, add petals or oats and learn which oils make a soap creamy, hard or bubbly.
What you take home
A batch of soap bars. Cold-process soap needs a few weeks to cure before use.
Who it suits
Wellbeing sessions, team socials and gift-making. Melt-and-pour classes come to offices easily; cold process usually happens at the studio.
