No wheel, just your hands, a few wooden tools and a block of clay. The host walks you through three classic techniques, pinch pots, coils and slabs, then you choose what to make: a plant pot, a mug, a trinket dish or a small sculpture. You score, join and smooth the pieces, add texture with stamps or found objects and finish with coloured slip or underglaze. It is calm, chatty and forgiving, and every piece ends up looking like its maker.
