Cocktail masterclass
Shake, stir and garnish three or four classic cocktails with a bartender behind the bar.

What you do
A bartender takes you behind the bar and through a handful of classics, say a margarita, an old fashioned and an espresso martini, explaining the balance of strong, sweet and sour as you go. You learn to measure, shake and stir, double strain and garnish like you mean it, then taste your work. Many masterclasses end with a friendly shake-off where the best drink wins a round of applause. Alcohol-free versions can usually be made for anyone who prefers them.
What you take home
The recipes, a few bar tricks and the confidence to make a proper drink at home.
Who it suits
Team socials, client evenings and Christmas parties. Bars take groups of most sizes, and mobile bartenders can set up in your office.
