What you do

Two crafts in one session. You start by mixing fast-setting concrete or jesmonite and casting it in a mould, adding colour, marbling or terrazzo chips if you like. While the vessel sets and is sanded smooth, you choose a fragrance and prepare the wax. Then you fix the wick, pour the candle into the vessel you just made and leave it to set. The result looks like something from a design shop, except you made both parts.

What you take home

A cast vessel with your scented candle inside. Once the candle has burned down, the pot becomes a planter or a desk tidy.

Who it suits

Design-minded teams, festive gifting and anyone who wants a more hands-on candle class.
