Scented candle making
Blend your own fragrance, pour soy wax into a jar and make a candle to take home.

What you do
First, the fun part: smelling. The host lays out fragrance oils, from fresh citrus and green fig to amber and smoky wood, and helps you build a blend with top, middle and base notes. Then you prepare the jar, fix the wick, melt and measure the wax and pour at the right temperature for a smooth top. While the candles set, you name your scent and design a label. Everything fits on a table, so many hosts run it at the office.
What you take home
One or two candles in your own scent. They need a day or two to cure before the first burn.
