What you do

A florist starts by introducing the season's flowers and foliage and how to prepare them: stripping leaves, cutting stems at an angle and conditioning them in water. Then comes the trick of the trade, the spiral, where each stem goes in at the same angle so the bouquet holds itself together. You choose your colours and textures, build your bouquet, tie it off and wrap it in paper. It is colourful, fragrant and genuinely relaxing.

What you take home

Your bouquet, wrapped and ready for a vase, and tips to keep it fresh for longer.

Who it suits
