What you'll do

Overview

This Delft tile painting workshop lasts 90 minutes. It is a calm, creative way to try the classic blue-and-white tile tradition and walk away with something you made rather than bought.

What you'll make

One hand-painted, Delft-inspired tile. It is packed in a box together with easy instructions for the final baking step, which works in an ordinary oven or even an air fryer.

How the session runs

You arrive to a short introduction to Delft Blue ceramics and the painting style. Your host demonstrates the basic technique and shows classic motifs to work from. Then you pick a design, traditional or more personal, and paint at your own pace with step-by-step guidance. Tile, paint, brushes and an apron are all supplied, plus coffee, tea and a sweet snack.

Who it's for

Beginners, couples, friends and families. Nobody needs painting experience, and the pace is relaxed rather than competitive. The tile makes a keepsake that feels more personal than anything shop-bought.
