What you'll do

Overview

This henna workshop is a 90-minute private session for groups of six or more. An experienced practitioner introduces the art form and then helps you try it yourself.

What you'll make

Your own henna body art, drawn with the paste and tools provided.

How the session runs

The instructor begins with the background of henna, which has long been used to colour skin, hair and fabric across the Arabian Peninsula, South Asia and North Africa, and which still plays a part in bridal traditions in many places. After sharing techniques and tricks, they guide the group while everyone designs their own pattern. A soft drink, coffee or tea is included.

Who it's for

Friends celebrating together, hen parties and anyone curious about the craft. No drawing experience is expected.
