What you'll do

Overview

This stroopwafel baking class is a short, hands-on session. In about three quarters of an hour you go from dough to a warm, syrup-filled Dutch classic that you made yourself.

What you'll make

Two extra-large stroopwafels. You can eat them straight from the iron or box them up for later, if they last that long.

How the session runs

Your host opens with the story of the stroopwafel, then walks the group through each step: pressing the dough, baking the wafer and spreading the hot syrup between its two halves. An apron and all ingredients are provided, and there is coffee, tea or water to go with the tasting. Everyone leaves with a baking certificate.

Who it's for

Complete beginners, couples, friends and families. Children from age 4 can join as long as a parent supervises. Not every machine can be reached from a wheelchair. It is short enough to fit around lunch.

Private & team bookings

A private session for your own group is priced per person and starts at 12 guests. It can run at your office or another venue, with any venue cost added separately. Contact the team to set up a birthday, team outing or client event.
